PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – To close out the fall portion of their schedule, men's golf finished 11
th at the White Sands Invitational and Harrison Hineline tied for 15
th with a new 18-hole season low in the final round at the Ocean Club Golf Course.
In the final round of the White Sands Bahamas Invitational Texas State recorded their second best 18-hole round of the tournament, and their second-best 54-hole total this season.
As a team the Bobcats finished 11
th among 12 teams, two being ranked in the top 50 according to Golfstat. The Bobcats shot one-over in the third round and were four-over par to end the tournament.
No. 38 Duke claimed the team championship after shooting 12-under in the final round and 41-under through three rounds.
INDIVIDUAL
Harrison Hineline tied for 15
th on the final day of the tournament, moving up 19 spots on the leaderboard. The graduate student's final round featured his third eagle of the season on hole six and four birdies. Hineline finished the tournament five-under 211, his round of 67 was his best mark of the season and second round in the 60s.
Sakke Siltala went three-over par in the final round, his highest round in the tournament.
Terrin Anderson finished fifth among the 15 individual competitors with four-over par and his second eagle of the season on hole 17.
