About Texas State
TXST dropped both matches last week but are still in contention for a top six seed and first round bye in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. The Bobcats can secure a top six spot with a win or draw. A loss along with Old Dominion not beating Marshall would also claim one of the first round byes.

Madi Goss tallied her team leading ninth goal of the season at Marshall on Sunday. Her total is now tied for the third most by a sophomore in Texas State history. Goss' goal total is tied for the second most in the conference. Zoe Junior has netted four goals and Olivia Wright comes in with three tallies to her name. A team-high four assists have come off the left foot of Juana Plata. Goss ranks second on the team with three assists.

Katelyn Chrisman cracked the program's career top 10 with five saves last Thursday to give her 63 in her career. She enters the regular season finale with a 1.29 GAA, 48 saves and a .716 save percentage.

About App State
The Mountaineers come to San Marcos on a three-matching winning streak after beating Louisiana and Southern Miss this past weekend. App State currently sits sixth in the Sun Belt table and need a win or draw to secure a top six seed in the tournament. A loss plus ODU failing to beat Marshall would also clinch a bye into the quarterfinals for the Mountaineers.

Izzi Wood paces the team with six goals, 48 shots and 23 shots on goal. Katie Fuller comes in with three goals, two of which came against the Ragin' Cajuns, and Shannon Studer has two goals and two assists on the year. Breckyn Monteith has been credited with a team leading three assists.
