FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. –Texas State's
Katherine Stuckly earned Second-Team All-America honors on Friday, March 12, at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
Competing at the NCAA Championships for the first time, Stuckly cleared 1.71 meters (5' 7.25") on her third attempt to finish in 16th place in the women's high jump.
A two-time All-Sun Belt Conference First-Team selection, Stuckly punched her ticket to the NCAA Championships when she won the women's high jump at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championship with a career-best clearance of 1.81 meters (5' 11.25").
She won her second-straight Sun Belt Conference high jump title this season after winning the 2020 championship.
Stuckly was named to the 2020 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team while majoring in industrial engineering at Texas State.
A native of Ennis, Texas, Stuckly was a member of the Dean's List at Texas State for five semesters and the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List in 2018-19 and 2019-20.
