SAN MARCOS, Texas – The final regular season match for the Texas State soccer team takes place this Friday at the Bobcat Soccer Complex with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m. against ULM. After the match, the Bobcats will recognize seniors
Addison Gaetano,
Gabie Jones,
Ally Kewish and
Hannah Solano for their contributions to the program following the match.
Enter Friday, TXST is 7-6-2 on the season with a 4-4-1 record in conference play while the Warhawks are 10-3-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the Sun Belt.
The match will be streamed on ESPN+ with
Brant Freeman and Lindsay Mason-Yanko on the call. A radio broadcast on KTSW 89.9 FM and live stats will also be available.
Goals2Cure

About Texas State
The Bobcats played to a 1-1 draw on Sunday at Louisiana thanks to Solano's first career goal late in the 13 minute to tie the contest. Currently in fifth place in the conference standings, TXST can mathematically finish between third and 10th following the conclusion of the regular season.
Kiara Gonzales continues to lead Texas State with four goals and
Mya Ulloa has a team-high five assists, all of which have come in Sun Belt action. The duo has combined to take 75 shots with 35 being on frame. Three assists apiece are credited to
Bailey Peschel,
Kamaria Williams and Gonzales.
Beth Agee has made 11 starts between the posts and sports a 1.06 GAA with 54 saves and a .818 save percentage. She has made 141 saves in her career, which ranks sixth in program history.
About ULM
ULM won 2-1 over Appalachian State in a shortened match due to inclement weather on Friday. The Warhawks followed with a 3-0 win on Sunday against Nicholls State. Entering the weekend, ULM is tied for seventh in the Sun Belt standings with Coastal Carolina with 10 points. After Friday's contest, the Warhawks close out the regular season Sunday at Louisiana before hosting Troy in a makeup match on Thursday.
Overall, ULM has scored 42 goals so far this season to set a new program record. Courtney Marten has netted a team-high 13 goals, the most by a Warhawk in program history, while playing in 12 matches and starting just three. Theoni Zerva comes in having scored eight goals and leads the team with nine assists. She also paces the squad with 52 shots and 27 shots on goal.
Finding the back of the net four times apiece has been Mara Grutkamp and Janet Stopka. Igne Konst has five assists to her name while Aysha Bentick and Grutkamp have assisted on four goals each.
Haily Hillock has started 11 matches in goal. She's given up 14 goals for a 1.28 GAA while making 41 saves with a .745 save percentage. Mickaela Leal has made four appearances between the posts with three starts. She has yet to allow a goal in 249:40 minutes while making five saves.
All-Time Series
Texas State leads the all-time series 16-6-1, has won five straight and is unbeaten in the last seven meetings. Last season saw the Bobcats claim a 2-1 win on the road and 3-1 victory at home on Senior Day. ULM's last win in the series came on Oct. 17, 2014 in San Marcos by a 2-1 score.
When hosting the Warhawks, TXST is 7-3-1 all-time. The lone draw in the series was on Senior Day on Oct. 23, 2016 and ended 1-1.
