ABOUT TEXAS STATE
The defense has powered the recent hot streak as the Bobcats have yielded an average of 54.5 points per game during the last four outings. In TXST's losses this season, the team gives up 70.6 points per night. The Bobcats are outrebounding opponents 133-129 during the four-game streak.

Senior guard Toshua Leavitt continues to lead the Bobcats in scoring with 16.6 points per night. She ranks third in the conference in scoring and leads the league with 3.4 made 3-pointers per game. Leavitt scored a game-high 28 points in the win over the Cajuns to give her nine 20-point games during her final season as a Bobcat.

Junior forward Jazza Johns had her best two-game stretch since joining the Bobcats. In her first start since opening the season in the starting five, Johns posted a career-high 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting and six rebounds at ULM. Her encore performance was 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting and six rebounds in TXST's narrow win in the Cajundome.

With a career record at Texas State of 124-123, head coach Zenarae Antoine is fourth in program history in career victories. She trails Suzanne Fox (174), Judy Rinker (145) and Linda Sharp (138) on the all-time list.

SCOUTING TROY
The Trojans play a unique style of basketball in which the Bobcats have not seen much this season. Troy plays up-tempo and thrives on the offensive glass. Their length and athleticism are tough to duplicate and provides problems on both ends of the floor.

Troy leads the Sun Belt in scoring (82.3 ppg) and is second in scoring margin (+11.4). The Trojans lead the NCAA in rebounding, pulling down 51.0 boards per game. Baylor, the No. 2 team nationally in rebounds, collects 46.7 misses per contest. The margin between Troy and Baylor (4.3 rpg) is the same gap as Baylor and the No. 23 team in Yale at 42.4 rebounds per game.

Junior guard Kayla Robinson (10.9 ppg) and junior forward Amber Rivers (10.4 ppg) lead Troy's well-balanced offensive attack. All 14 players on the roster have played in at least 18 games and average at least 7.9 minutes per game this season. Nine players for Troy average 6.3-plus points per contest, while six grab at least 4.1 rebounds per outing.

SCOUTING SOUTH ALABAMA
The Jaguars started the season 11-0 in the non-conference slate, which included a victory at Alabama (72-67) on Dec. 5, 2018. USA opened the conference schedule 1-3 with two home losses. Since, South Alabama has won 7-of-10 games and are positioned fifth in the conference standings.

Sophomore center Antoinette Lewis gives head coach Terry Fowler one of the best post players in the conference. She averages 14.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per night and connects on 60.0 percent (150-of-250) of her shots. Sophomore guard Savannah Jones leads the Jaguars in scoring with 15.5 points per night. Junior guard Shaforia Kines is the third player in double-figures for USA with 13.7 points per outing. The trio makes up 62.6 percent of South Al's scoring and is the highest scoring trio in the conference.

UP NEXT FOR THE BOBCATS
Texas State will close out the 2018-19 regular season against in-state rival UT Arlington on March 9 at Strahan Arena. The game will tip at 2 p.m. and will represent Senior Day for the Bobcats.
