SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State baseball team hits the road for the first weekend series away from Bobcat Ballpark in 2018.
The Bobcats (7-4) are set to venture to Isla Vista, California, for a three-game set with UC Santa Barbara (4-7). The two teams are slated to meet March 9-11 at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium.
These will be the first meetings between the two programs. The last time Texas State competed in California was a three-game series against San Jose State April 19-21, 2013. That marked the lone season that the maroon and gold was members of the Western Athletic Conference.
