STATESBORO, Ga. – Texas State and Georgia Southern's series-opening game, originally scheduled for 6 p.m. CST/7 p.m. EST Friday night has been pushed into a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. CST/3 p.m. EST.
Inclement weather is moving across the entire southeast and Statesboro, Ga., has fallen victim to it. With the storms moving in, the Bobcats and Eagles have elected to delay Friday night's game until Saturday with the front end of the doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. CST/3 p.m. EST with the second game slated to begin approximately 45 minutes following the conclusion of the first game of the day.
Sunday's first pitch is still scheduled for 12 p.m. CST/1 p.m. EST.
Lucas Humpal will be on the mound for the first game of the day Saturday, and
Jeremy Hallonquist will take over in the second game.
