DALLAS – Texas State assistant soccer coach, Link Scoggins, has been selected as one of the lead instructors for the upcoming EXACT Soccer Dallas Girls Elite ID Camp that is scheduled to take place on Saturday and Sunday, December 21-22. This camp is a college soccer camp that is open to all high school players interested in competing at the next level.

This unique college soccer camp provides players with the opportunity to not only showcase individual field skills, but also their mental readiness. Scoggins will also join other top instructors from NCAA programs such as Sam Houston State, Northwood, Hardin-Simmons, Schriener, St. Mary's, Abilene Christian, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas Women's, Ranger, Richland, Midwestern State, and University of Dallas.

During this one-day camp, these instructors will conduct small group clinic activity, observe players in showcasing their development potential, and lead one-on-one review sessions with each player.

Combined with the elite instruction of experience NCAA coaches, EXACT Sports also provides the mental training used across professional and college sports.

This is Coach Scoggins third season as an assistant coach at Texas State. A 2005 graduate of Hardin-Simmons, Scoggins spent the following year after graduation as an assistant coach for his alma mater. Other coaching stints for Scoggins include being the head coach for the Triumph FC Soccer Club, assistant coach with the Abilene Soccer Club., and coach at Cistercian Preparatory School in Dallas.
