San Marcos, Texas – Texas State baseball has been a staple atop the Southland Conference standings in recent history and a big reason why the SLC has become one of the top mid-major baseball conferences in the nation. In their final season in the Southland in 2012, the Bobcats finished third in the league with a 19-14 conference record. In 24 seasons in the Southland, Texas State compiled a 376-269 for a winning percentage of .582.
