San Marcos, Texas – No. 23 Texas State and No. 19 TCU are scheduled to play for the second time this season on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Bobcat Ballpark provided that the weather and field conditions allow for that to happen. Storms are projected to be in the San Marcos area overnight and throughout Tuesday.

The Bobcats (13-6) and Horned Frogs (11-6) played earlier this season in Fort Worth when the Bobcats won a 1-0 game to end an eight-game winning streak by TCU. The Bobcats also handed TCU its first shutout in a 165 game stretch dating back to 2009.

Texas State enters the midweek contest after defeating Stephen F. Austin in two of three games last weekend to improve to 4-2 in the Southland Conference. Meanwhile, TCU has won its last nine games, including a weekend sweep of UNVL last weekend, to get back in the national rankings.

The Bobcats will seek their first win over TCU in San Marcos since 2001 when the team took a 9-4 decision.
