San Marcos, Texas – The Texas State soccer team has its regular season finale on Sunday at I-35 Rival, UTSA. With a win or tie, the Bobcats will clinch a spot in the WAC Tournament, held next week at Utah State.

Texas State enters the weekend fourth place in the current WAC standings at 3-4-0. The top six teams reach the WAC Tournament in two weeks in Logan, Utah. The Bobcats are coming off a week in which they shutout New Mexico State, 3-0 and fell to No. 23 Denver 1-0.

UTSA begins the weekend one place below the Bobcats at 2-3-2. The Roadrunners are coming off a strong weekend offensively, scoring two goals against both New Mexico State and Denver.

Following the game on Sunday the Bobcats will know their schedule for next Thursday, Nov. 1, the first day of the WAC Tournament. The Bobcats will play either at 12:00 MT or 2:30 MT time.
