Course Information
San Marcos, Texas - The Texas State men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the 73rd Annual Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree on Saturday, Sept. 25 in Stillwater, Okla. The race will be held on the OSU campus, and will feature elite teams from across the country.
The women's 6k race will begin at 9:15 a.m., with the men's 8k to follow at 9:45 a.m. The course will feature rolling hills on a grass surface.
Last week, both teams competed at the Ricardo Romo Six Flags Fiesta Texas, hosted by UTSA. The top finisher on the women's side was Amanda McKinney. She recorded a time of 20:25 for 41st place. For the men, Will Stewart was the top runner, as he clocked a time of 16:31 for 27th place.
At last year's Jamboree, both Michael Morris and Steffanie Armstrong were the top runners for Texas State. The pair returns this year, as they both lead their respective teams.
