SAN MARCOS, Texas– Texas State women's tennis continues its fall slate this weekend when it travels to Abilene to compete in the ACU Invite, hosted by Abilene Christian University, Friday through Sunday.

The Bobcats will compete in a seven-team field featuring Abilene Christian, North Texas, Tarleton State, UT Arlington, SMU and Texas Tech.

Play begins at 9 a.m. each day at the Eager Tennis Center. Friday and Saturday will feature doubles competition followed by singles play, while Sunday will consist of singles action to conclude the tournament.

Texas State returns to action after opening its fall season last weekend at the Cowgirl Invite in Lake Charles, Louisiana, hosted by McNeese. The Bobcats posted a .500 record across singles and doubles competition, going 6-6 in doubles and 10-10 in singles.

Several Bobcats recorded winning records in singles and doubles play at the Cowgirl Invite and will look to build on those performances this weekend in Abilene.
