Meza returns as one of the top players in the nation after receiving a selection to the 2026 Preseason Players to Watch list by United Soccer Coaches. The senior is entering her fourth season in the Bobcat uniform after netting four goals, three assists, and 35 shots with 15 on frame across 1,395 minutes and 16 matches en route to First Team All-Conference honors. Most recently, Meza served as team captain for the El Salvador Women's National Team and netted a pair of goals that included a game-winning goal to secure a bronze medal for the squad at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on August 6.
Alormenu is no stranger to national and conference recognition as well, as she returns after being selected to the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Players to Watch list herself. The 2025 USC Third Team All-Region recipient enters her third season with Texas State after leading the team with 16 points in the 2025 campaign. Alormenu netted five goals and contributed six assists for a Bobcat team that set a program record in the assists department a year ago (45).
Tsutsui landed on the Pac-12 Conference Preseason Impact List as well after appearing in all 21 matches while making 18 starts over the course of her freshman season, where she led the team in assists with eight. The feat tied the Bobcat freshman record and tied third-most in an overall season in program history. The Narashino, Japan native looks to build off a hot start in her NCAA career as she enters her sophomore campaign in 2026.
