WALNUT, Calif.— Texas State track and field recorded multiple top-10 finishes across the Bryan Clay Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays on Friday, highlighted by three event titles and several podium performances.

At the Mt. SAC Relays, Bostyn Baskin led the way with a first-place finish in the collegiate women's high jump, clearing 1.65 meters. 

Cassandra Rendon added another victory for the Bobcats in the women's collegiate discus with a mark of 52.54 meters, while Arveyon Davis captured the men's 110-meter hurdles title in 14.08 seconds.

Adam Carter posted a pair of top-five finishes, placing second in the men's collegiate shot put with a throw of 17.64 meters and fifth in the discus at 51.85 meters. 

In the men's long jump, Giovonni Walker earned a third-place finish with a mark of 7.56 meters, while Isaiah Kayembe added an eighth-place finish at 7.13 meters.

On the women's side, Hannah Kemele recorded a third-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 14.71 meters, and Chinenye Uzoh placed sixth in the elite high jump section with a clearance of 1.70 meters.

Texas State also saw success on the track, with Drew Donley finishing seventh in the men's 100 meters in 10.47 seconds, while Kila Rodas (2:13.95) and Kathryn Evans (2:14.54) placed eighth and ninth, respectively, in the women's 800 meters.

The Bobcats closed out the meet with an eighth-place finish in the women's 4x400-meter relay, as the quartet of Sai Brookins, Victoria Amiadamen, Kerrah Evans and Siena Farrell posted a time of 3:43.58.

At the Bryan Clay Invitational, Jack Deelman recorded a time of 14:30.49 in the men's 5,000 meters, moving him to No. 5 in program history.

Texas State will close out its California trip Saturday at both the Bryan Clay Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays.
