SAN MARCOS, Texas– Texas State women's tennis will host Tyler Junior College in its regular-season finale on Saturday, April 18 at 9 a.m. at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.

The match was originally scheduled for April 4 as part of Senior Day festivities but was postponed due to inclement weather.

Texas State (12-7) enters the finale looking to remain unbeaten at home, holding a 6-0 record at the Bobcat Tennis Complex. The Bobcats are coming off a 4-1 loss to Arkansas State on Sunday in their final Sun Belt road match of the season.

Saturday's match will be Texas State's final competition before traveling to Rome, Georgia for the Sun Belt Conference Women's Tennis Championship, set for April 22-26.

Tyler Junior College (9-4) enters the matchup in its final regular-season contest before heading to Sumter, South Carolina for the NJCAA National Championships. 

The Apaches feature a young roster composed entirely of freshmen and sophomores.

Saturday will mark the first-ever meeting between Texas State and Tyler Junior College on the tennis court.
