NEW ORLEANS – For the second time this season, freshman Grace Quintanilla has claimed Sun Belt Conference Golfer of the Week honors. This is the fifth overall honor for Texas State, three more than any other league institution.

Quintanilla was the co-leader for the Bobcats alongside Yvonne Chamness at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in 'Aiea, O'ahu, March 17-18. She tied for sixth to headline the TXST lineup for the fifth time this season and the finish was her fourth in the top 10, including three straight. Quintanilla's tournament featured her fifth round in the 60s this season en route to a 2-under performance, as well as the lowest total on par 3s at -3 and a team-best 12 birdies.

The Bobcats are back in action for their final regular season event April 6-8 in College Station, Texas.
