NORMAN, Okla. – Texas State women's golf closed the Schooner Fall Classic on a high note Monday, posting its best round of the tournament with a 1-over 281 at Belmar Golf Club.

Grace Quintanilla led the way for Texas State, finishing tied for 28th at even-par. Quintanilla (71-71-68--210) closed her tournament with her strongest round, carding a 2-under to move up 15 spots on the individual leaderboard.

Mia Ginnetti also delivered a strong finish for the Bobcats on Monday, going 3-under in the final round. Ginnetti (76-72-67--215) finished tied for 46th at 5-over after improving each round throughout the tournament.

Sandra Palin finished 71st at +11, while London Fowlkes placed 90th +19. Reene Carroll rounded out the Texas State lineup in 92nd at +28.

As a team, the Bobcats finished 14th. The tournament was led by Iowa State, who topped the field at -30, with host Oklahoma (-13) and Florida State (-11) finishing second and third, respectively.

TXST is back in action October 1-3 for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Denver in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
