HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – Grace Quintanilla posted her first top-10 finish of the young season to lead the Bobcats at the three-day Ron Moore Intercollegiate hosted by Denver at Highlands Ranch.
Quintanilla (71-74-69--214) fired a pair of rounds under par, highlight by a 3-under 69 final 18 to lead TXST for the third consecutive tournament of 2026-27 finishing tied for ninth. The sophomore's final round brought her season total to a team-leading three rounds in the 60s with six under par. She has had all nine of her rounds counted toward the Bobcats' score this season.
Mia Ginnetti turned in her best placement of the season at the event, tying for 31st on the individual leaderboard. Ginnetti (76-75-72--223) has seen action in two of three Bobcat tournaments this season after enrolling mid-year last season a taking a redshirt year.
Mana Hersperger (74-77-74--225) collected her best placement, 54-hole score and score relative to par of the season at 9-over 225 to finish T46th, while
Sandra Palin (74-76-76--226) was +10 and tied for 51st.
Freshman
Savannah Bowers rounded out the TXST lineup finishing tied for 62nd and shooting the first eagle of her career on No. 11 in the second round. Bowers' (72-81-75--228) even par opening 18 secured her second round at even par or better this season.
As a team, the Bobcats finished 10th at 19-over, topping newly minted Pac-12 counterparts Colorado State (+30), Oregon State (+30) and Boise State (+31). UNLV won the 15-team event followed by Xavier and Tulane for the top three teams.
TXST is back in action October 18-19 when they host the Jim West Challenge at Kissing Tree Golf Club. The home tournament will be the final action of the fall for the Bobcats. Fans are invited to attend free of charge and live scoring will be available via Scoreboard by clippd.
