Bobcats Set to Host New Mexico State, Sam Houston State

SAN MARCOS, Texas— Texas State women's tennis returns home this weekend to open its home slate with a pair of matches against Conference USA opponents at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.

The Bobcats will host New Mexico State on Friday at noon before closing the weekend against Sam Houston on Sunday, also at noon. The two matches mark Texas State's first home competition of the spring season following a four-match road stretch to open the year.

Texas State enters the weekend riding momentum after back-to-back road victories, defeating St. Mary's 6-1 and UTRGV 5-2. The Bobcats showed consistency across both doubles and singles play during the road trip and will look to carry that level of performance into their home opener.
