Texas State Softball has rescheduled its 3rd annual First Pitch Dinner due to forecasted inclement weather in the San Marcos are this weekend. The dinner is moving to Saturday, Feb. 21
st. VIP will start at 4:00pm and dinner will start at 4:30pm. All ticket holders should check their emails for details.
The event will still include the annual auction and feature a special guest panel of standout former athletes, including:
- Ricci Woodard – Texas State Softball Head Coach, 13-time Conference Champion, 5-time Coach of the Year and 2024 NFCA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year
- Nikki Udria — 2-Time All-American, University of Oregon (2017)
- Kristen Zaleski — 2-Time All-American, Texas State University (2004) and current Assistant Coach at the University of Texas
Proceeds from this event directly support the Texas State Softball program and enhance the student-athlete experience. Funding from the 1st Pitch Fundraiser has played a vital role in program development, including upgraded technology, advanced camera analytics, and elite-level training equipment helping Bobcat Softball compete with the best in the nation.

Texas State Softball will start its 2026 season on February 6th at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Arizona against Toledo. The team's home opener will be during the States Up Invitational, with the team's first game being Feb. 12 at 5 pm versus Clemson. Stay tuned to txst.com for ticketing and broadcast information.
