NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference announced the 18-game for the Texas State men's basketball team on Thursday. Nine games each will be played at home and on the road.
Conference play begins with two home games prior to Christmas against two of the four co-regular season champions from last season. The first league matchup in Strahan Arena will be against Arkansas State on Dec. 17 followed three days later with a meeting with South Alabama.
The 2025 calendar year concludes at Troy. It is the first of four consecutive road games for the Bobcats. They will also take on ULM (Jan. 3), Southern Miss (Jan. 8) and the Red Wolves (Jan. 10).
Jan. 14 will see Texas State host Louisiana for the first home game of 2026. That weekend will also see the Golden Eagles come to town.
Five consecutive games against teams from the Eastern half of the conference starts with two road games at Coastal Carolina and James Madison on Jan. 22 and 24, respectively. January concludes with two home contests versus Marshall and Old Dominion. The Bobcats are back on the road for a single-game trip to take on Georgia Southern on Feb. 4.
Three of the final five games of the regular season will take place in Strahan Arena. First will be matchups against Troy and ULM in San Marcos on Feb. 11 and 14, respectively. Following a road swing to Louisiana and South Alabama, Texas State wraps up its final regular season in the Sun Belt against App State on Feb. 27.
