Women's Tennis Prepares for SBC Tournament Quarterfinals Match

The No. 3-seeded Bobcats face the No. 6 seed Marshall tomorrow at 1 p.m. CT in the quarterfinal round of the tournament.

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's tennis is set to begin play in the Sun Belt Conference Women's Tennis Championship. The No. 3-seeded Bobcats face the No. 6 seed Marshall tomorrow at 1 p.m. CT in the quarterfinal round of the tournament. The SBC Women's Tennis Championship tournament takes place in Rome, Ga., and is hosted at the Rome Tennis Center April 24–27.

The Bobcats head into the match with their best overall record in program history (16-5) and their highest ranking in the tournament (3) since joining the conference in 2014.

This will be the second time this season Texas State has faced Marshall, and the Bobcats will be looking to avenge their regular-season loss versus the Thundering Herd.

The winner of Friday's match will move on to the semifinals round to face No. 2-ranked App St.
