SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's tennis returns to action at the Bobcat Tennis Complex on Sunday, where it will face Sun Belt foe Louisiana at 10 a.m.
The Bobcats head into the match with a perfect home record of 6-0 and will be looking to tie its best home record of 7-0 since joining the Sun Belt Conference in 2014.
Texas State will also be looking to secure their 13
th win of the season, which would be their most since the 2012 season when they went 14-6 overall. Lastly, a win over Louisiana would move the Bobcats to 4-1 in conference which would be their best start to Sun Belt play since joining the conference.
Heading into the match
Ireland Simme holds a perfect record of 11-0 in singles play on courts five and six, while fellow Bobcat
Emily Niers holds a record of 11-1 on courts three, four and five.
In doubles,
Kiana Graham and
Callie Creath will be looking to improve to 11-2 on the season as a pair on court three.

Louisiana heads into the match with an 8-4 overall record and a 1-2 record in the SBC. The Ragin' Cajuns won their last Sun Belt matchup 4-1 against ULM.
Texas State holds an 8-5 all-time series lead and dropped last year's match 3-4.
