SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Bobcats closed their fall campaign Sunday, tallying 23 wins across singles and doubles play at the State's Up Slam.
Doubles
The Bobcats fielded five teams in doubles contests and earned eight wins over two days of competition.
Ireland Simme/Olivia Collins
Simme and Collins went 1-2 in Flight 1. The pair won their first match against UTSA's Giuliana Giardina and Tarazona Peyro, 6-4. They lost their next match to UT Arlington's Diana Kaibara and Tasnime Ahamout, 6-3. Simme and Collins dropped their final doubles match to Sam Houston's Aaliyah Hohmann and Anamaria Kurtsikashvili, 6-4.
Charlotte Roesch/Chantajah Mills
Competing in Flight 2, Roesch and Mills went 2-1. They won their first match against Sara Sadainovic and Ella Fitcher, 6-2. They lost their next match to St. Mary's Alessia Karol Terlizzi and Suryanshi Suryanshi, 6-4, but bounced back by winning their final match against UT Arlington's Sofia Selle and Zoe Du Paquier Jensen, 6-1. Du Paquier Jensen competed with Selle due to injuries on UT Arlington's team.
Emily Niers/Stoney Cooks
Niers and Cooks went undefeated in Flight 3 of doubles play, finishing the weekend 3-0. They started with a win against St. Mary's Selina Wu and Janel Ospanova, 6-3. They went on to defeat UT Arlington's Vanja Cado and Flora Farkaslaki Hints, 6-4. The duo finished doubles play with a win against Sam Houston's Isabella Garza and Adithi Venkatakrishnan, 6-2.
Anastasia Radovanovic/Julia Richardet
Competing in Flight 3, Radovanovic and Richardet went 1-1 in doubles play. They won their first match against UTSA's Ayra Salim and Celine Absawi, 7-5, but lost their final doubles match to St. Mary's Selina Wu and Janel Ospanova, 6-1.
Tadiwa Mauchi/Zoe Du Pasquier Jensen
Du Pasquier Jensen made her Texas State debut this weekend, competing with Mauchi in Flight 3 of doubles. The pair won their only match together, defeating UT Arlington's Vanja Cado and Flora Farkaslaki Hints, 6-2.
Singles
Nine Bobcats competed in the women's singles and secured 15 total wins over two days of competition. 
Charlotte Roesch
Roesch competed in Flight 1 and went 2-1 on the weekend. She began singles competition with a win over UT Arlington's Diana Kaibara, 7-5, 1-1, retired. Roesch dropped her next match to St. Mary's Alessia Karol Terlizzi, 6-3, 6-2, before bouncing back to win her final match against Sam Houston's Anamaria Kurtsikashvili, 7-6 (1), 6-1.
Stoney Cooks
Freshman Cooks competed in Flight 2 and went 2-1 on the weekend. She lost her first match to Sam Houston's Christina Jevicky, 1-6, 6-2, [10-7], before bouncing back with wins over St. Mary's Selina Wu, 6-1, 6-4, and Sam Houston's Christine Jevicky, 2-6, 6-2, [10-6].
Ireland Simme
Simme went 2-1 on the weekend while competing in Flight 3. She opened with a two-set win over UT Arlington's Sofia Selle, 6-2, 6-2, then defeated UTSA's Celine Absawi, 6-2, 6-4. Simme dropped her final match to St. Mary's Suryanshi Suryanshi, 0-6, 7-6 (9-7), [10-6].
Emily Niers
Niers competed in Flight 4 and went 1-2 over two days of competition. She lost her first match to UTSA's Lala Tarazona Peyro, 6-2, 6-2, then came back to defeat UT Arlington's Flora Farkaslaki Hints, 4-6, 6-2, [10-5]. Niers closed singles play with a close loss to Sam Houston's Sara Sadadinovic, 6-7 (3), 7-6 (4), [10-7].
Anastasia Radovanovic
Freshman Radovanovic had a strong showing in singles play, going 3-0 while competing in Flight 5. She opened with a win over Sam Houston's Adithi Venkatakrishnan, 4-6, 6-3, [10-8], followed by a victory over UT Arlington's Vanja Cado, 6-2, 6-1. Radovanovic closed out the weekend with a dominant win against St. Mary's Janel Ospanova, 6-1, 6-1.
Chantajah Mills
Mills went 1-2 on the weekend while competing in Flight 6. She lost her first two matches to UTSA's Ayra Salim, 4-6, 7-5, [10-7], and UT Arlington's Tasnime Ahamout, 6-1, 6-4. In an extra match, Mills bounced back to defeat Sam Houston's Aaliyah Hohmann, 6-1, 6-2.
Tadiwa Mauchi
Mauchi competed in one singles match in Flight 7 and won her lone contest, defeating UT Arlington's Natalia Gonzalez, 2-6, 6-1, [16-14].
Olivia Collins
Collins competed in two singles matches in Flight 7 and went 2-0 on the weekend. She earned wins over Sam Houston's Aaliyah Hohmann, 6-4, 4-6, [10-1], and Isabella Garza, 6-2, 6-3.
Julia Richardet
Richardet also competed in Flight 7 and went 1-1 in singles play. She lost her first match to Sam Houston's Isabella Garza, 6-2, 0-6, [10-6], before bouncing back to defeat Aaliyah Hohmann, 6-4, 6-2.
The State's Up Slam was the final tournament of the fall season. The Bobcats will open the spring season on Jan. 17 when they face Wichita State in Norman, Oklahoma.
