NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference announced the 18-game for the Texas State men's basketball team on Wednesday.
Conference play begins prior to Christmas on Dec. 21 against Georgia Southern. The Bobcats return to the court for four consecutive games to start the new year. First will be the program's first-ever trip to Marshall on Jan. 2 and two days later head to North Carolina to take on App State. The following weekend sees the Bobcats face Troy and Southern Miss on Jan. 9 and 11, respectively.
Texas State's first game inside Strahan Arena in 2025 takes place on Jan. 15 against Georgia State. That weekend concludes with a game against Southern Miss.
Over the last two weeks of January, the Bobcats will face Arkansas State and Louisiana. First up is a trip to Lafayette, Louisiana to battle the Ragin' Cajuns on the 22nd and take on the Red Wolves three days later. Both of those teams will then come to San Marcos the following weekend.
Three straight games are on the road starting with the first contest at Old Dominion on Feb. 5. The last road trip of the season takes TXST to ULM (Feb. 13) and South Alabama (Feb. 15).
The Bobcats ends the regular season as they host four consecutive games. First up are the return trips by the Warhawks and Jaguars on Feb. 19 and 22, respectively. Troy comes to town on Feb. 26 with the home finale being against the defending conference champions James Madison on Feb. 28.
