SAN MARCOS, Texas – The four-match homestand for Texas State (2-2-0) concludes Sunday night when Houston (2-2-1) comes to town. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. from the Bobcat Soccer Complex.
 
Fans can watch the contest on ESPN+ and live stats will also be available.
 
Match Day Promotion
It will be International & Fan Appreciation Day at the match. One lucky fan will be chosen to run out with the team and there will be an autograph session after the match. International fans and students are encouraged to bring a flag of their nation or wear their country's jersey to show their pride and celebrate the diversity of our Bobcat community.
 
About Texas State
The Bobcats are coming off a 2-1 loss on Thursday to Colorado State that snapped an eight-match unbeaten streak at home. Scoring TXST's goal was Mya Ulloa when she converted a penalty kick.
 
Mady Soumare paces the team and is second in the Sun Belt Conference with three goals while her two match-winning tallies are the most in the league. Along with Ulloa, also scoring once this year has been Sydney Bassa, Anna Dunch and Zoe Junior.
 
In goal, Caitlyn Draper has started the last three matches where she has made 12 saves for a .857 save percentage and a 0.72 GAA. Two appearances have been made by Katelyn Chrisman, who sports a 1.65 GAA with eight saves.
 
About Houston
Thursday saw the Cougars win their second straight match with a 2-1 win over UTSA at home. UH is 1-1-0 on the road this year with a season-opening loss to Texas and a win at Tarleton State.
 
A team-high two goals have been scored by Aryanna Jimison, both coming against the Roadrunners. Both Ramsey Davis and Cameryn Maddox have found the back of the net once. Credited with an assist apiece have been Amanda Adams, Bri Hilsenteger, Krysten Kizer and Anna Reysa.
 
Olivia Dietrich has played all 450 minutes between the posts. The redshirt sophomore has made 30 saves, 14 of which came versus UTSA, for a .857 save percentage and has a 1.00 GAA.
