About Texas State
Last weekend saw the Bobcats complete a San Antonio sweep with wins over UIW (4-0) and UTSA (1-0). It was the 10 time in program history that the team has shutout its first two home opponents.

Leading the way offensively is Mady Soumare, who scored three goals over the weekend including both match-winning tallies. Her goal total is tied for the most in the Sun Belt Conference while her two match-winning scores gave her the league lead.

Also finding the back of the net this season with a goal apiece is Sydney Bassa, Anna Dunch and Zoe Junior. Bassa's first career goal came on a penalty kick against the Cardinals. That match also saw Junior record a career-high two assists.

In goal, both Caitlyn Draper and Katelyn Chrisman have played in two matches apiece this year with Draper starting the last two contests. The sophomore has not allowed a goal in 161:11 minutes on the pitch while making nine saves. Chrisman enters with eight stops and a 1.65 GAA.

About Colorado State
The Rams enter Thursday on a two-match winning streak after defeating California Baptist and Northern Colorado last weekend. CSU opened the season with a scoreless draw against Idaho State and a 3-2 loss at Nebraska.

Scoring a team best two goals has been Maggie Altman and Mia Massey. Recording a goal apiece has been Taite DeLange and Liv Stutzman. Coming in with a team-high two assists are Kacie Laurie and Avery Vander Ven. Altman paces the squad with 17 shot attempts while taking double-digit shots each has been Mia Casey (10), Stutzman (12) and Vander Ven (10).

The Rams have outshot all four of their opponents and have only allowed double-digit shots once this year. That came at Nebraska when the hosts took 13 attempts.

Between the posts, Shayna Ross has played all possible 2,360 minutes since the start of the 2023 season. This year, the redshirt junior has made seven saves and recorded three shutouts with her only goals allowed coming against the Cornhuskers.
