About Texas State
The Bobcats began the season with a 2-1 loss at Rice last Thursday.
Anna Dunch prevented the team from being shutout with her first career goal that came with just over a minute left in the match.
The senior defender was one of four TXST players to take two shots in that contest along with
Zoe Junior,
Victoria Meza and
Mady Soumare. Dunch was the only one of the foursome to put both of her shots on frame while the others had one apiece on goal.
In goal,
Katelyn Chrisman made seven saves on the night. Her fourth save against the Owls was the 100th of her career as she became the 10th Texas State goalkeeper to reach triple digit saves.
