SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team will be heading to South Carolina to compete in the sixth annual Mrytle Beach Invitational that will be held November 21, 22 & 24.
 
All 12 games are to be played at the HTC Center on the campus of fellow Sun Belt Conference member Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C. Every contest will also be presented across ESPN platforms.
 
Joining the Bobcats in the Palmetto State will be Bradley (Missouri Valley), Middle Tennessee (Conference USA), Ohio (Mid-American), Portland (West Coast), Princeton (Ivy), South Florida (American Athletic) and Wright State (Horizon League).
 
Of those seven teams, Texas State has only faced one before with that being Portland. The Bobcats hold a 2-1 edge in the all-time series with the Pilots after winning the last meeting 91-68 on the road in 2018.
 
TXST has enjoyed playing in the HTC Center having won all five meetings in the arena against the Chanticleers.
