SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State's soccer schedule for the 2024 season was unveiled on Thursday. The slate features 19 matches, nine of which take place at the Bobcat Soccer Complex, and three contests against Big XII opponents.
Following an exhibition match on Aug. 9 at Abilene Christian, the Bobcats kickoff the regular season at Rice on Aug. 15.
Texas State will spend the next two weeks in San Marcos. First up will be a weekend against Alamo City programs beginning with I-35 rival UTSA on Aug. 22 and then Incarnate Word that Sunday. The month of August closes out against Colorado State on the 29th and on the first day of September the Bobcats will host Houston.
A five-match road swing begins at Oklahoma State on Sept. 5. After closing out that weekend at Texas A&M-Commerce, TXST will play its third Big XII program of the season when it takes on Baylor on Sept. 15. The final non-conference contest takes place at McNeese on Sept. 19 and then the Bobcats open Sun Belt Conference action three days later at Louisiana.
In conference play, Texas State will welcome Arkansas State (Oct. 4), Georgia Southern (Oct. 31), Marshall (Sept. 26), South Alabama (Oct. 24) and ULM (Oct. 13) to the Bobcat Soccer Complex. The other four road league road matches will take the Bobcats to App State (Oct. 27), Old Dominion (Oct. 18), Southern Miss (Sept. 29) and Troy (Oct. 10).
The Sun Belt Conference Championship will be held Nov. 4-10 in Foley, Alabama.
