Bobcats Set to Face Georgia State in Round Two of the SBC Tournament

Texas State looks to make the quarterfinals for the fourth straight season.

San Marcos, Texas – Texas State women's tennis earned the No. 8 seed in the Sun Belt Conference Women's Tennis Championship Tournament and will face No. 9 seed Georgia State in the second round on Thursday, April 24 at 9 am CST in Rome, Georgia.

The Bobcats (11-7, 5-5 Sun Belt) come into Thursday's match with their best overall record since 2011 and their highest ranking in tournament play since 2021.

Texas State's matchup against Georgia State (9-13, 5-6 Sun Belt), will be the second time the teams face off this season. If Texas State wins Thursday's match against Georgia State, they will take on the No. 1 seed Old Dominion Friday, April 26 at 9 am CST.
