SAN MARCOS, Texas – Sunday will see Texas State (7-3-4, 3-0-2 Sun Belt) host ULM (7-4-2, 2-1-2 Sun Belt) at the Bobcat Soccer Complex for a 1 p.m. kickoff in a battle between two teams at the top of the Sun Belt Conference West Division standings.

About Texas State
The Bobcats come into the contest on a nine-match unbeaten streak (5-0-4), which is tied for the fourth longest in program history and tied for the 10 longest active streak in the nation, after defeating Troy on the road 2-1 Thursday night. Seven of the nine matches have come away from San Marcos with that unbeaten run being the second longest in team history. TXST is one of three unbeaten teams left in conference play along with App State and James Madison.
Mady Soumare has scored a team-high six goals with three of them being match winners, which are tied for the second most in the league.
Sydney Bassa comes in with four goals with three of them coming from the penalty spot. Netting three goals apiece are

Victoria Meza and
Mya Ulloa.
A team leading four assists have been credited to
Kaylie Smith. Coming into the contest with three assists on the year are
Chloe Jones,
Zoe Junior and Soumare.
Between the posts,
Caitlyn Draper heads into Sunday's clash with a Sun Belt best 0.83 GAA and .860 save percentage. Her 49 saves are the second most in the conference. Also seeing action in goal is
Katelyn Chrisman, who has made 11 saves in six contests and nearly 400 minutes of action.
About ULM
The Warhawks are undefeated in their last three matches after beating Arkansas State on Thursday 2-0 at home. ULM also posted back-to-back 2-2 draws at home against James Madison and Louisiana. When playing on the road, the Warhawks are 3-3-0 this season with a 1-1-0 mark in league contests that has seen them defeat Troy and fall at Old Dominion.
Leading the team with five goals and 13 points is Skylar Blaise. She ranks second with three assists, 30 shots and 16 shots on goal behind Mara Grutkamp's four assists, 32 shots and 24 SOG. Grutkamp has also found the back of the net four times, along with Kai Douglas.
Jennifer Handy has started 12 matches in goal and posted a 1.01 GAA, 31 saves and a .738 save percentage. Appearing in four matches with two starts is Emerson Roberts. She comes in having allowed seven goals for a 2.59 GAA while making 11 stops for a .611 save percentage.
Series History
Texas State leads the all-time series 17-8-1. Sunday's 27 all-time meeting will be the third most against an opponent in team history behind 31 versus McNeese and 28 against Northwestern State. Last season, ULM wont he regular season meeting 5-0 in Monroe that was the Bobcats' largest margin of defeat in a Sun Belt contest.
When hosting the Warhawks, TXST is 8-4-1 all-time. The last match in San Marcos saw the Bobcats win 4-1 behind
Madi Goss' hat trick on Sept. 25, 2022. Texas State hasn't lost back-to-back meetings in the series since the 2013 and 2014 campaigns.
