SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State will host Georgia State and travel to Old Dominion in 2024 as the Sun Belt Conference announced on Thursday the cross-divisional matchups for the upcoming season.

The Bobcats, along with the rest of the Sun Belt Conference teams, had their 2024 cross-divisional opponents revealed for the first time. Each of the conference's 14 programs plays one home game and one away game against a cross-divisional foe each season—and will play every team in the opposite division at least once every four years.Â

Texas State last played Georgia State in 2021 in Atlanta while the contest against ODU will be the first between the two programs.

Dates for the two games and all other conference games will be announced no later than March 1.

The complete list of Texas State's opponents in 2024 is now set as it will play eight Sun Belt games along with nonconference games against Lamar (Aug. 31), UTSA (Sept. 7), Arizona State (Sept. 14), and Sam Houston at NRG Stadium in Houston (Sept. 28). The Bobcats will also take on Sun Belt West Division opponents Arkansas State, Louisiana, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Troy, and ULM.
