Bobcat Fans,

This Sunday, we'll officially learn the bowl destination for our third consecutive bowl game and I want to start by congratulating Coach Kinne and our student-athletes on this achievement. This was a challenging season, and we are proud of the way our team rallied to win three straight games at the end of the season to become bowl eligible.
 
As we prepare for the postseason, I want to personally ask for your support. Bowl partners and television partners notice which fan bases show up. So do recruits! Similar to the past two bowl games, we want Bobcat Nation to show up BIG, no matter where we play! This means we need all Bobcats to purchase tickets, wear maroon and gold, host great tailgates and help us represent Texas State on a national stage. On Sunday, we will release information at TXST.com/jumpin about how to support the Bobcats and purchase bowl tickets.

As we enter the postseason stretch, we are placing a strong emphasis on football NIL. The steps we take now will directly shape our ability to compete immediately in the Pac-12 by supporting roster retention and driving recruiting success. This week, Coach Kinne announced one of the strongest Early Signing Day classes in program history, highlighted by Texas State's first four-star signee. I am confident he will continue building on this momentum through the transfer portal and February's signing day.

We are competing against programs with deep NIL resources, and every dollar makes a meaningful difference. We have invested heavily as a university, but we are hoping to add significant external support over the next few weeks.  Whether it's $25, $250, or $2,500—your contribution today strengthens our roster tomorrow.

While NIL for football is our immediate emphasis, we remain committed to elevating all 16 of our programs. While success in football lifts the entire department, we will continue working to support every student-athlete at Texas State.
 
This is an exciting stretch for Texas State Athletics with a bowl game on the horizon, an exciting new conference and a fan base ready to rise to the occasion!
