Shane Howell announced the 2023-24 schedule on Thursday. The upcoming season for the Bobcats will feature 10 tournaments across nine states.
The Bobcats will be competing in five of the same regular season tournaments from last season which include the Clerico, Hall Williams Collegiate, Louisiana Classics, the All-American, and the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial. Four of the 10 tournaments that await the Bobcats will be hosted by fellow Sun Belt Conference teams.
After ending last season with a postseason win at the National Golf Invitational, Texas State accepted an invitation to compete at the Mirabel Intercollegiate presented by Maui Jim. The Bobcats will open the season with this tournament Sept. 8-10 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Texas State returns to action Oct. 23-24 for the Clerico in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Bobcats finished in the top-5 at the tournament last season. To close out the fall portion of the schedule, Texas State will travel to Honolulu, Hawaii for the Kapolei Classic Oct. 31- Nov. 2.
The spring season kicks off with the Hal Williams Collegiate hosted by South Alabama from Feb. 12-13 in Mobile, Alabama. A trip to Las Vegas will await the Bobcats Feb. 26-28 for the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate hosted by Louisiana at the Reflection Bay Golf Club.
Texas State will be playing in the Louisiana Classics hosted by the Ragin' Cajuns March 11-12 at the Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette, Louisiana. For the second season in a row, the Bobcats travel to Humble, Texas for the All-American hosted by Houston from March 18-19.
The Mobile Bay Intercollegiate is the third and final tournament in March and will be the second trip of the season to Mobile, Alabama. South Alabama will host the tournament that is set to take place March 24-26. The regular season for the Bobcats ends with the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial in Charlottesville, Virginia April 8-9.
The Sun Belt Conference Championship will be held at the Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Mississippi April 22-25.
