SAN MARCOS, Texas – On Tuesday, Texas State women's tennis head coach Kendall Brooks released the 2023 fall tournament schedule which begins in September. 
 
The fall season will feature the TXST Fall Invite hosted by Texas State at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.  
 
With four fall tournaments, Texas State will begin the season with the Islander Open in Corpus Christi, Texas during Sept. 8-10. The following weekend, Sept. 15-16, the Bobcats will play in the two-day Southwestern Quad in Georgetown, Texas. 
 
To close out the month, Texas State will host the TXST Fall Invite for the second season in row from Sept. 30-1., last year the Bobcats won the top singles and doubles flights of the tournament. The ITA Regionals will close out the fall schedule on Oct. 12-15 in Waco, Texas. 
 
Brooks returns nine student-athletes and added graduate transfer Callie Creath to complete her 2023-24 team. Last season Brooks led the Bobcats to eight wins, the most since 2017.
