The Bobcats are coming off a 3-1 week that concluded with a series victory over Arkansas State. All four games were decided by a run. The win on Friday was the 100 in head coach
Steven Trout's career. He became the fastest coach in program history to reach the mark, doing so in 162 games.

Davis Powell heads into the week hitting a team-high .347 with 10 doubles, 22 runs and 17 RBI.
Jose Gonzalez paces the squad with 28 RBI and 26 runs scored. His .323 average, nine homers and seven doubles all rank second on team. Also batting over .300 is
Chase Mora at .319. The Tomball, Texas native has hit a team best 10 home runs, which ties the program's freshman record that has been held by Tyler Sibley since 2009.

Scheduled to take the mound on Tuesday is
Peyton Zabel. It will be his fourth start of the season as he enters the game with a 4.35 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 10.1 innings while yet to receive a decision.

Triston Dixon (1-0, 4.56 ERA, 4 SV) has made a team-high 15 appearances out of the bullpen.
Jack Stroud has struck out 32 and earned two saves over 13 relief appearances and 21.2 innings while posting a 3.32 ERA.
Rhett McCaffety (2 SV, 10 K) is the only other Bobcat to have appeared in at least 10 games out of the pen.

ABOUT TEXAS A&M
The Aggies are coming off a series victory at home over the defending national champions Ole Miss. At home, they are 13-7 with a 10-4 mark against non-conference opponents. TAMU has posted a 5-2 mark in midweek games with both losses coming at home to Lamar (Feb. 21) and Texas (Mar. 28).

Both Hunter Haas (.380) and Jack Moss (.364) are batting over .300 and have hit three homers apiece. Moss comes in with 24 RBI and Haas has 17 RBI to his name. Austin Bost has a team-high 28 RBI to go along with three round trippers. Jace Laviolette has hit a team-high five home runs and has stolen seven bases while plating 24.

Sophomore Troy Wansing will start on the rubber. The lefty is 2-1 with a 3.80 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 23.2 innings. He will be making his seventh start of the season with Tuesday being his first in midweek action.

Earning two saves has been Will Johnston (3-1, 4.67 ERA, 27 K). Also picking up a save are Matt Dillard (0-2, 14.29 ERA), Justin Lamkin (1-3, 4.88 ERA, 35 K) and Ty Sexton (1-0, 4.50 ERA). Coming out of the bullpen 10 times has been Evan Aschenbeck. The junior lefty-hander is 3-0 with a 2.89 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 25 strikeouts over 28.0 innings.

SERIES VS. AGGIES
The all-time series sees Texas A&M lead 47-14. The Aggies have won the last three meetings including an 8-4 contest last season in College Station. Texas State's last win came on Apr. 9, 2019 on the road. That game saw the Bobcats score all five of their runs in the first inning that was capped off by a grand slam from
John Wuthrich. When playing TAMU on the road, TXST is 9-34.
