MADISON, Miss. – Texas State men's golf maintained their position tied for fourth after the second round of the Sun Belt Conference Championship at Annandale Golf Club. Marcelo Garza and Jack Burke lead the Bobcats inside the top-15. 
 
Texas State recorded a second-round total 290 four-over par, one stroke better than their first round. The Bobcats are now in a three-way tie for fourth at five-over par alongside Southern Miss and South Alabama. 
 
No. 26 Georgia Southern moved into the top spot at three-under. The Eagles are the only team under par after two rounds. 
 
Marcelo Garza and Jack Burke co-lead the Bobcat lineup after day two in the tournament. Garza moved into the top-15 after shooting one-under 71 in the second round, one stroke away from tying his 18-hole season low. Garza is now even on the course with the help of four birdies today, the most among the Bobcats in the round. 
 
Jack Burke finished the day tied for 13^th with one birdie and a bogey to record his second round of 72 in the tournament. Freshman Sakke Siltala shot two strokes better in the second round to have the highest jump on the leaderboard for the Bobcats. Siltala recorded his second even round this season to sit at two-over through two rounds. 
 
With four bogeys, Harrison Hineline went from co-leading the Bobcat lineup to finishing fourth after a three-over par round today. Kasper Nyland stayed within the top-50 recording a four-over 76 round with a double bogey.
