SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State football added 22 signees and transfers on the first day of the early signing period on Wednesday.
 
The first wave of the 2024 newcomer class included 11 high schoolers, seven transfers and four junior college players. Of the 22, 12 are on the defensive side of the ball while 10 are on offense.
 
The signing class features 13 players who are set to join the program in January, including two high schoolers: quarterback Brad Jackson and wide receiver Kylen Evans. The remaining nine will join in the summer.
