Women’s Tennis Signs Mills for 2024-25 Season

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's tennis head coach Kendall Brooks announced the signing of Chantajah Mills for the 2024-25 season. 
 
Chantajah Mills is a four-star recruit that is ranked No. 112 in the nation and No. 10 in the state of New York with a 14-3 overall record. The New York, New York native won the Girls' Varsity Singles and Girls' Varsity Doubles titles at the 2023 NYJTL Mayor Dinkins Cup, the largest interscholastic tennis competition in the country. 
 
Mills was a captain on Beacon High School's 2023-24 Public Schools Athletics League Division A championship team that finished the season with a 15-0 record. Mills won the 18's Mixed Doubles Championship at the Matt Stevenson Junior Tennis Tournament, was the 2023 Mayors Cup Singles and Doubles Champion, and finished second in L4 18's singles and doubles. 
 
Recently, Mills was named a USTA Eastern Tennis Ambassador in 2023 for representing the area and sport of tennis in the right way on and off the court. Mills trains at the Cary Leeds Center in the Bronx, New York.
