Ricci Woodard and Texas State softball have announced the 2024 Bobcat Softball schedule. The 55-game slate sees 30 games inside Bobcat Softball Stadium.

TXST will host the likes of Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Baylor and Penn State inside Bobcat Softball Stadium.

The Bobcats will host two tournaments this season. The first and home opener will run from Feb. 8 to Feb. 11 and the 'Cats will play host to UTSA, Kennesaw State, Southern Illinois, Creighton, and Northwestern State.

The second tournament will run Feb. 15-18 where Sam Houston, Tulsa, Northern Colorado and Texas Tech will come to San Marcos.

Following the two home tournaments the Bobcats will go to Phoenix to partake in a joint-hosted tournament with Arizona State and Grand Canyon. The Bobcats will also face Seton Hall in this tournament, a team the Bobcats faced at the 2023 NCAA Tournament Austin Regional. Also in the tournament is Big Ten opponent Ohio State, Utah Valley and Idaho State.

The Longhorns will come to Bobcat Softball Stadium on Feb. 28. Following that midweek showdown the Bobcats will go to Lubbock for a tournament with Texas Tech, Merrimack, New Mexico State and UTEP.

To close out the non-conference match ups the Bobcats will have a weekend series with Penn State.

The Bobcats will start conference play on the road with a series at James Madison. The 'Cats will also travel to South Alabama, ULM and Southern Miss for conference play.

Coming to Bobcat Softball Stadium from the Sun Belt is App State, Troy, Louisiana and Marshall.

Texas State will host Texas A&M on March 20 and Baylor on April 3 in midweek match ups. The 'Cats will travel to Texas on April 10 and UTSA on April 17 as well.

To close out the year the Bobcats will host the 2024 Sun Belt Conference tournament May 8-11.
