SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's golf will be hosting the 2023 Jim West Challenge at the Kissing Tree Golf Club Oct. 22-23.
The 13 team field will feature five top-50 teams including Houston, Oklahoma State, SMU, UNLV, and UTSA. Texas State's
Fia Lindblom and
Carla Bourdeaux, both freshmen, will be making their first appearance in the Jim West Challenge. This will be the fourth time
Hailey Jones will compete in the tournament, but her first as a Bobcat after transferring from Oklahoma State.
It has been a month since the Bobcats have competed, in their last outing the team finished 13
th at the Schooner Fall Classic in September.
