SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State baseball team will play a pair of exhibition games this Fall announced by head coach
Steven Trout on Wednesday.

The Bobcats will take on Weatherford College on Friday, October 7 at 4 p.m. at Bobcat Ballpark. Two days later, TXST travels to Cleburne, Texas to face Tarleton State at 1 p.m. The contest will be played at the Cleburne Railroaders Stadium.

Admission to the home game against WC will be free.

The Fall games allow Bobcat fans an opportunity to get their first look at the 2023 team that features 28 returners and a host of newcomers.

Heading into the fourth season under the direction of Trout, TXST is coming off a record-breaking season. This past Spring saw the Bobcats won a record 47 games, won its second Sun Belt Conference regular season title in the last three full seasons and advanced to the winner-take-all finals of the Stanford Regional.
