Bobcats Continue Road Trip with Stop at Schooner Fall Classic

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's golf team continues their road trip with a stop in Norman, Okla. for the Schooner Fall Classic Sept. 24-26.
 
Texas State is coming off their first tournament of the season where they finished 14th. Matilda Svahn and Marine Griffaut tied for 55th and at the top of the lineup for the Bobcats shooting 14-over par. In her first appearance for the Bobcats, Mattingly Palmer competed as an individual and tied for 67th
 
Last season's outing at the Schooner Fall Classic saw Texas State claim a top-10 finish and Griffaut tied for 11th with two-over par.

The three-day tournament will feature 18 holes each day. Texas State will be paired with Iowa State and Louisville for the first round, with the Bobcats teeing off of holes 24-28 in 10-minute increments beginning at 10:50 a.m. The final round on Monday will have a 8:30 a.m. start.
