SAN MARCOS, Texas- Texas State rounds out conference play with a road trip to Louisiana and ULM April 9 and 10 before the Sun Belt Conference Championship.
The Bobcats
Texas State (4-14, 1-7) is coming off a two-loss weekend when they hosted Georgia State and Georgia Southern.
Freshman
Maria Lora picked up two wins on the weekend in the No. 5 singles spot, the only Bobcat to do so.
Senior
Renata Gonzalez earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory on court six for her last home match on Senior Day.
Mae McCutcheon and
Jadeh Chan clinched the doubles point 7-5 against Georgia State, but
Sofia Fortuno and
Kylee Shannon were unable to clinch it on court three against Georgia Southern.
The Ragin' Cajuns
Louisiana (6-9, 2-6) are on a four-match losing streak on the road, and are 5-4 at home.
Lucie Raquin is 3-3 in the No. 1 singles spot for the Ragin' Cajun's. Angel Santiago and Catarina Zheng are 4-3 in No. 2 doubles, and Carla Urchoeguia and Momoko Yoshimura have a 5-8 record in No. 1 doubles.
The last meeting between the Bobcats and Ragin' Cajuns was in 2021, where Louisiana won 4-0 at home. The Bobcats hold the series record 6-4.

The Warhawks
ULM (6-10, 3-5) is on a four-match losing streak, with a 4-0 home record.
The last win for the Warhawks came in late March when they beat Arkansas State 4-1, also the lone conference win for the Bobcats.
Hala Badwy has a 7-5 record in the No. 1 singles spot. Oleksandra Balaba is on a three-match win streak in the No. 2 and 3 singles.
ULM's doubles teams have a losing record, except Hala Badwy and Jimena Paula Garbino who have a 2-2 record on court three.
Texas State lost the last meeting in 2021 4-1 in Monroe. ULM holds the series 7-3 since 2013.
Texas State will play in Monroe, Louisiana on Sunday, April 10 against the Warhawks in Heard Stadium at 10 a.m.
