Tennis Unable to End TCU’s Home Winning Streak

Box Score FORT WORTH, Texas- Texas State (2-6) was unable to end TCU's (8-3) seven-game home winning streak with their 0-6 loss at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
 
Singles 
Fifth-year senior Hana Kvapilova battled Aliza Soloveva on the No. 1 court, was able to put up a fight in the first set but lost 7-5, 6-2.  Mae McCutcheon lost 6-1, 6-2 to Aleksa Cveticanin in flight No. 3. Freshman Maria Lora lost 6-2, 6-1 against Jade Otway in flight No. 5. 
 
Doubles
McCutcheon and Jadeh Chan were in flight No. 2 and lost 6-3 against Mercedes Aristegui and Isabel Pascual. Kvapilova and Kate Malazonia finished their match second 6-3 in flight No. 1 to give the Horned Frogs the doubles point.
