Box Score RUSTON, La.- Texas State women's tennis (2-4) ends their Louisiana road trip weekend with a 5-2 loss at Louisiana Tech (6-2).
Singles
Hana Kvapilova and
Maria Lora were the only two Bobcats to win a singles match against Louisiana Tech. In the No. 1 flight Kvapilova defeated Lady Techster Leonie Schuknecht 7-6, 6-2. Lora in flight No. 6 had a close battle with Ana Rodrigues in a 6-4, 7-5 win.
Kate Malazonia lost a close 6-4, 6-3 match against Olga Bienzobas in flight No. 2.
Mae McCutcheon went 6-2, 7-5 in flight No. 3,
Sofia Fortuno 6-2, 6-3 in flight No. 4 and
Renata Gonzalez saw a patterned 6-4, 6-4 loss in flight No. 6.
Doubles
The Bobcats went 0-2 in doubles, with
Kate Malazonia and
Mae McCutcheon's match going unfinished.
Hana Kvapilova and
Sofia Fortuno lost 6-0 against Louisiana Tech's Leonie Schuknecht and Ana Rodrigues.
Jadeh Chan and
Maria Lora also went 6-0 in their doubles match against Alexia Romero and Olga Bienzobas.
