PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – Freshman Sakke Siltala ended the first round of the White Sands Bahamas Invitational tied for 23
rd at the Ocean Club Golf Course, the Bobcats are in 11
th as a team. 
 
TEAM
Texas State shot three-over 291 in the opening round of the White Sands Bahamas Invitational to sit in 11
th. They are four strokes behind 10
th place UTEP and 17 strokes behind Arkansas State who leads the field of 12.
 
Today's round was the Bobcats third highest single round total.  
 
INDIVIDUAL
Sakke Siltala finished in the top-25 managing to stay under par, the only Bobcat to do so. The freshman has finished in the top-25 in the opening round of all three tournaments he has played in. Siltala recorded his third eagle of the season on hole six. 
 
Jack Burke and Harrison Hineline tied for 42
nd one-over par and three bogeys each. Hineline and 
Terrin Anderson both recorded the most birdies in the Texas State lineup with four.  
 
Anderson is in eighth among the individuals just two-over par and three strokes behind the competitors in a five-way tie for first.
