SAN MARCOS, Texas – Following a three-match homestand, the Texas State soccer team (5-2-1, 2-0-0 Sun Belt) is back on the road this weekend beginning on Friday at Sun Belt Conference preseason favorite South Alabama (4-3-1, 0-1-1 Sun Belt). The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff at The Cage.
The match will be streamed on ESPN+ with Noah Frary on the call. Live stats will also be available.

Beth Agee enters the weekend first in the Sun Belt with a .895 save percentage and third with a 0.65 GAA. She has also made 34 saves and recorded three shutouts.
About South Alabama
The Jaguars played to a 1-1 draw at Little Rock and fell 3-2 to Arkansas State to open their Sun Belt schedule. Friday will be just USA's second home match of the season. The first was a 4-2 loss to Ole Miss on Sept. 2.
A total of 16 players have scored for the Jaguars with 10 of them finding the back of the net at least twice. Both Imane Addi and Gracie Wilson have netted a team leading five goals. Sydney Ham has scored four times while Kailey Littleford, Lexi Lloyd-Smith and Kate Nicholson have scored three goals apiece. Littleford paces the squad with four assists.
Starting the first seven matches between the posts was Allison Luckhardt. She sports a 1.93 GAA with 20 saves and a .625 save percentage. Jaidy Campos made her first collegiate start against Little Rock where she made two saves.
All-Time Series
South Alabama leads the all-time series 6-1-2. The Jaguars won the last meeting between the programs 1-0 in double overtime on Sept. 19, 2019 in San Marcos.
Texas State's lone victory in the series was on Sept. 23, 2018 in Mobile. Kaylee Davis scored the lone goal and Heather Martin stopped a shot on the goal line with 64 seconds left in the match to preserve the shutout.
First draw between the teams was on Sept. 27, 2013 in Mobile by a score of 2-2. The second took place in the semifinals of the 2018 Sun Belt Championship and ended with a 1-1 score. TXST would go on to advance on penalty kicks 4-2.
